My BEd Journey 💞

 Today we started with Gibi teacher's class. Keerthi sang a beautiful prayer song. Teacher asked the new admission students to introduce themselves and they got a chance to show their strength. They presented themselves very well. Next session was taken by Maya teacher. Teacher taught us the sociological process in Education and meanig of Education. Teacher quoted some famous words regarding education. " By Education I mean all-round drawing out of the best in the childand man -body, mind and soul".                                           - Gandhiji " Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man".                                   -Swami Vivekanand  After that it was Ancy teacher'S class and she taught us the types, levels and barriers of communication. Then it was Physical Education class and George Thomas sir asked us to reach ground and permitted us to play badminton and cricket.

Today was our first assembly at MTTC. Assembly was conducted by MEd students. Started with college anthem and prayer. News reading and thought for the day followed by prayer and pledge. There was a thought provoking message from our beloved principal.        Today was the most beautiful day in my BEd life.We got a chance to interact with the wonderful resource person Dr G.V Hari sir. His class was very much interesting.The striking words of his class were energizes, allegory, adaptability, creativity, introspection, experience,Vigilant, readiness. Next session was handled by Benedict Sir.Sir gave the message "The illiterate of the 21st century, will not be those who cannot read and write,but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn."                          -Alvin Toffler Last session was handled by Joju Sir.It was an inspiring session.Sir gave the message       "A man who earns his living from his hobby is the happiest".                       - George Bernard Shaw

   Today the class started with prayer at college chapel. First session was handled by Gibi Ma'am.Maam explained about TEACHER COMPETENCY. Next session was handled by Joju sir. Sir gave the valuable message without values we are a big zero. Next session we enjoy the game :Snatch the ball. In the last hour there was a wonderful performance by our MEd seniors.It was an awesome treate for us.They treated us with their superb dances,skit and music.

                      Today first period was taken by Benedict Sir. He said the quote, " Before you teach your students, you should learn your learner". Also he taught us teachers are being called as social engineers, because they are moulding future generation.             The second session was taken by Joju sir.His inspirational speech helped most of us to kill our inhibitions. He taught us how a teacher should be and should not be.

 As the continuation of self introductions as well as light classes about the subject was going on, a former student teacher of the college has paid a visit. She spent her time with us by sharing her valuable life experiences and academic times to us which enlightened us. After the orientation class, we gathered around to plant and nourish a vegetable garden in our campus. The session was inaugurated by our principal Dr. K. Y Benedict sir.

Today on first session of our class Benedict sir gave an activity to write a letter to our favourite teacher. It was an activity to understand the qualities of a teacher. Next session was taken by Gibi teacher. Teacher gave an interesting activity that asked us to place our book on head and to draw our face.we got funny faces.

First step to my dream World                Today was my first day at Mar Theophilus Training College.The function was inaugurated by our respected principal Dr K .Y Benedict sir , parent student representative and college union chairman.
