My BEd Journey 💞

 Today was the last day of our teaching practice at St. John's Model HSS, Nalanchira feeling happy to complete the second phase of teaching practice successful ly at the same time feeling sad to leave from school.  Today we were busy. We met our students of various classes, advised them to study well and to be a good citizen of our nation. In third period I went to 9A and collected the data for project. In 4th period I took remedial class in 9A.I got feedback from concern teacher and students. Afternoon there was a painting competition for the high school and higher secondary students. From 3.45 pm,we hada meeting in the office.The teachers shared their opinions about us and blessed us ,We distributed sweets to teachers.Today was an unforgettable day in my life.

 The 36 th day of our teaching practice phase 2. I reached the school by 9 am and signed my attendance. After prayer,I evaluated the answer sheet of achievement test conducted in 9A. There was National Talent Search exam.About 60 students participated in it. We had invigilation duty there. After lunch I distributed evaluated answersheet of achievement test.Then I conducted diagnostic test for selected 12 students from 9A,who scored less than 10 marks in the achievement test. They completed the test according to my instruction.

 The 35 th day of our teaching practice. I reached the school by 9 am and signed my attendance. I had morning discipline duty at first floor. Today school conducted an International Patriotic song competition in association with Independent day celebration. 

 Today was 34th day of our teaching practice. I reached the school by 9 am and signed my attendance. I had noon duty from 9 am to 9.30.  In second period  I got substitution in 8 D. I engaged with them by giving various problems related to equations. In third period I went to 9 A along with Parvathy she was teaching about digestion. After lunch I had noon duty in the ground.  

 I reached the school by 9 am and signed my attendance.In first period I engaged in my works. In second period, I went to 8A along with Sr Deepa for conducting achievement test. I had class in 9A during 5 th period.I took the lesson by Inquiry Training model. After 3.30 pm, we were in the auditorium for tomorrow's exhibition related to Hiroshima- Nagasaki day. We arranged many charts and posters showing the consequences of wars.

 Today was the 32nd day of our teaching practice phase 2. I reached the school by 9  am and signed my attendance.Today we celebrated the Arts day of St.John's Model HSS.Also the literary club was inaugurated.The deputy commissioner in CGST smt.Anjana.s Kumar I RS inaugurated the Literary association. The renowned popular beat boxer Ms. Ardhra Sajan inaugurated the Arts Club. Anjana ma'am highlighted the importance of reading .

 The 31st day of my school teaching practice phase 2. Reached the school at 9:00 am and signed my attendance.we started the day with  beautiful prayer. As tomorrow the school has Ars day we were in the auditorium for stage decoration.Sr.Deepa gave some instructions to us. I followed the instruction.So we could decorate auditorium more beautiful.            I had 3rd period In 9A. Fr.Sujith student teacher from social science observed my class and noted strengths and suggestions in my observation book. In 4th period I observed Anulekshmi's chemistry class in 9A. She taught balancing of chemical questions. She fixed the concept by giving more examples.           I had discipline duty from 12:30 - 1:15 pm  Sr.Jomcy along with  me. She was in tied block and I was in ground floor. Afternoon I engaged in my works.

 Today was 30th day of my school teaching practice phase 2. I reached the school by 9:00 am and signed my attendance. After prayer I engaged in my works. I had first period in 9A . It was the substitution period. Parvathi from natural science along with me. I taught them more problems from the chapter pairs of equations.In second period I got substitution in 8D. As the  instruction give by Mettilda teacher,I taught them some problems in the chapter 'Equations' students carefully attended my class. L also clear their doubts. Students were interested in doing problems. Later, I engaged in my works.               In 6th period I got substitution in 9D. Anjana along with me. I encouraged students to ask their doubts in the  chapter 'pairs  of equations' we taught them bacis calculation in that chapter. In 7th period I had class  in 9A.  Today  was 29th day of my school teaching practice phase 2. I reached the school by 9: am and signed my attendance. After prayer, I was preparing for my class.In second period I was preparing for my class.In second period I was in 9B along with Anjana. She taught them more problems from the chapter pairs of equations.The class was very effective. She used black board systematically and gave more activities to students.students were actively participated in it.               I had 5th period In 9A. We conducted a quiz competition in accordance with international moon day and Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam memorial day.It started at 1:30 pm.many students participated in it.I had class in 9A  from 1:15 to 2:00 pm. After that  I participated in the evaluation of quiz competition Anulekshmi was the quiz master.Hema and Nithin helped her to show questions as PPT presentation. Madhav and prithvi from 10B got first price.

Today was 28 th day of  our teaching practice  Phase 2.I reached the school by 9: 00 am and signed my attendance.I had morning duty at ground floor.         We conducted a still model making competition in accordance with international moon day.we  arranged the space for  exhibition. Many students participated in the competition and expressed their talents. I had 2nd period in 9A . Mettilda teacher along with me. In 4th period, Anulekshmi and me went to 9D for substitution. The students were completing their notes and we allowed them to do it. We kept discipline among students throughout the period.       Afternoon I assisted video shooting of 9A students. I gave necessary instructions to them  later I engaged in my works. I had  evening discipline duty from 3:30 pm. Student teacher Anulekshmi,Subin sir and Joffi teacher along with me.  Today was 27th day of our teaching practice phase 2. I reached the school by 9:00 am and signed my attendance.after the prayer,I was preparing for my class. I. Second period, I went to 9B along with Anjana. She taught them 2 problems involving the solution a pairs of equations. She also started the section ' some other equations '            In 3rd and 4th periods,we conducted a poster making competition on the importance of environmental protection. Many students participated in it and they made beautiful posters.After lunch we decided the prices for winner's. Arts sir. jini sir evaluated the posters and decided first,2nd and third prizes.Adithyan from 9A got first prize,prajeesh from 9A got second prize and Lakshmi from 10 B got 3rd prize.           I had 6th period in 9A. I continued the chapter ' pairs of equations '  I could manage the class very well. We left the school by 3:45pm.

 Today was the 26th day of our teaching practice phase 2.I reached the school by 9 am and signed my attendance. In first two periods I was preparing for my class.In third period I was class in 9A. I started the class by showing a motivational video and taught how to formulate pairs of equations from given information and how to solve it by activity oriented method. From 1.30 pm, we conducted a scientific talk on 'Design thinking' for students.

 Today was the 24 th day of our teaching practice phase 2.I reached the school by 8 .50 am and signed my attendance.The day started with prayer 🙏. As the sports day is celebrating on July 28 and 29 , students were divided into various houses such as Yellow,Blue,Green and Red. I had 6 th period in 9A.Sr Jomcy, student teacher from English optional observed my class.After the class, I assisted the video shoot of  9A students.

 The 23rd day of our teaching practice phase 2. I reached the school by 8.50 and signed my attendance.I had morning discipline duty at first floor.After prayer and pledge at 9.30 am I engaged in my works. I had second period in 9A. Mettilda teacher observed the whole class. Ancy ma'am visited the school. Also observed some classes of other student teachers. Afternoon, Ivanios quiz was conducted in the School auditorium. 29 teams were participated.2 students were in a team. We had invigilation duty there. There were 3 rounds.5 teams were selected to final round .We followed the instructions given by the quiz master and completed our duty successfully.After the quiz competition,the higher secondary teachers arranged a small refreshment for us.

 Today was 22nd day of our teaching practice.I reached the school by 9 am and signed my attendance.I had morning discipline duty at the ground floor. During third period  I was in 8D for substitution along with Sr. Deepa. We taught them how to draw an angle bisector.Later I engaged in my works. After lunch I had discipline duty in the ground floor. I had 6th period in 9A

 Today was 21st day of our teaching practice Phase 2. Since the body of former Chief minister Sri Ummen Chandi sir was kept for public view,there was huge block inIin public road,reached the school by 9.35 am.  I had third period in 9A. Mettilda teacher along with me.I started the class by showing a motivational video.Today I taught the concept of 'decimal forms of fractions with denominator 11' by activity oriented method.

 I reached the school by 9 am and signed my attendance.We had prayer and pledge at 9.30 am. Today pledge was in Hindi language. I had second period in 9A. At the end of the class I collected the notebooks and checked. Today I got an opportunity to serve food for students. Midhun sir and Rani teacher along with me. After that I had noon duty till 1.15 pm. Afternoon, there was unit test.I got exam duty in 9A  along with Rini teacher. Teacher rearranged the seats of students also gave some instructions.

 I reached the school by 9 am and marked the attendance. We started the day with a beautiful prayer.  In first period I was preparing for my class. During 4th period I was in 8B for observing English class taken by Vivek. He taught Some basics of grammar.He used more strategies for better understanding. I had noon duty from 1.00 pm to 1.15 pm. After noon I engaged in my works. I had 7th period in 9A. Deepthi teacher observed my class and noted strengths and suggestions in my observation book. I taught decimal forms by activity oriented method.

 I reached the school by 9 am and signed my attendance.We started the day with a beautiful prayer. In first two periods I engaged in my works.In third period I was in 9B along with Anjana. She started the class with a motivational quote. Then she taught them how to find the decimal forms of fractions with denominator 9 by activity oriented method. I had 5th period in 9A. Today l started new sub unit of the chapter 'Decimal forms'. I taught how to find decimal form of fractions with denominator not a power of 10 by activity oriented method.
